  2. ^^1^^RETRIEVING AND INSERTING INTERNATIONAL AND AREA CODES.

  4. The telephone control ship with a data base containing all the main international and area codes.
  5.  
  6. These codes may be
  7. A) Easily retrieved from the DB
  8. B) Added and deleted
  9.  
  10. The deafult international code may be modified.
  11.    
  12. ^^2^^To Retrieve an International Code from the DB just press F4.
  13. The List of Int. Codes is displayed; select one and press Return (or Double Click)
  14. The Telephone number is modified
  15.  
  16. ^^3^^To select an area code you may
  17. A) Display the int. code list with F4
  18.    then select the country
  19.    then press ->   
  20.    then select the area code
  21.     
  22. ^^4^^OR Just press F5 and select the area code you want.
  23. N.B. the list is for the default international code;   
  24. ^^5^^Adding and Deleting area and International Codes 
  25. ^^6^^To delete an international code:
  26. press F4, select the code to delete then press the DEL key   
  27. ^^7^^Clearly I do not want to delete so I answer NO 
  28. ^^8^^To delete an area code do the same with the area list 
  29. ^^9^^To insert an area code select the appropriate area code list then press INSERT 
  30. ^^10^^I may insert the new area code and the area name     
  31. ^^11^^With OK I will save the new entry;
  32. if I want to save and insert a new one I press Another  
  33. ^^12^^To Insert a new country code the same process apply.

  35. A) Using the location data file

  37. C) Selecting a country with F4    
  38. ^^14^^Using the location data file;
  39. Pressing F8 the location info are displayed  
  40. ^^15^^The Internat. code field is loaded at start up as default international cod.
  41. ^^16^^This def. Int code may be changed in the code.
  42. ^^17^^Using F8 I display the location data.
  43. The default Int. Code is taken from there;
  44.  
  45. I may also change it at run time using F4
